- My name is Holly Crandall and I'm a second year Elementary Education student at UNBC. My experience with the Fine Arts started with my grandparents. My grandpa is an artist as well as a retired Art and Art History teacher, he always made sure we had lots of good (and used!) supplies handy. My grandma is a wonderfully creative woman who is an amazing seamstress. We always had wonderful couture Barbie clothes, hand-sewn by grandma. In the twelfth grade, she created my prom dress from scratch! I have creative roots, that's for sure, and I'm working on my own creative branches!

listening to the excitement of the crowd made me smile, sounds like you and your sister had a blast! It was funny, the whole time I was watching their synchronized choreographed dance moves I kept thinking about how that would look in the classroom and if it would be very much fun for the students. It makes me think of the videos my mother-in-law has of my husband rocking out to air-band back in the day. It sure looks like he was having fun and it makes me smile.
